Any CHIPS, rust, bubbling, scratches, dents or other damage will be visible through the film, and such surface damage or imperfections may damage the film, cause the film to fail prematurely or the PPF material may not adhere to the surface at all. PPF will take the form of the surface underneath. Any areas that are repaired prior to clear bra installation must be properly repaired with and be finished with OEM (Original Equipment Manufactured) paint or clear coat. Any recently applied finish must be cured for the full amount of time recommended (minimum of 30 days) by the paint manufacture before applying clear bra material to the surface. PPF material has a cure time of at least 30-60 days at which time we do a free REQUIRED check-up to address any issues at that time. In the event the customer does not return for their 30-60 day check-up we are not responsible for the films conditions. Any recently applied finish must be cured for the full amount of time recommended by the paint manufacture before applying clear bra to the surface.

CONTENT: We reserve the right to refuse any work or vehicle for any reason.

IMPERFECTIONS: We strive for perfection in our installations, but due to the nature of covering an entire vehicle in a adhesive film, it is likely that you will see some degree of dust, contamination, or other debris under the film after installing. We attempt to take every precaution possible to make a near-perfect install, with the understanding that no installation will actually be perfect. We will not allow it to leave if we would not be satisfied on our own vehicle. Please note that the older the vehicle, the more likely it is to have dirt hidden in hard-to-access areas without a complete disassembly of the vehicle (which we do not do). This increases the odds of having slightly more specs of dirt under the film. Again, we make every attempt to mitigate this with our advanced installation techniques.

However, if the goal is to find an imperfection in the film, you will find something. We urge clients to consider that this is a protective film and not a completely invisible film with no imperfections.

INSTALLATIONS: Paint Protection film or PPF is a pliable plastic material that we make every effort to make look as seamless as possible, however, there may be curves, bumps, rivets, moldings and deep-channeled curves that will the clear bra will not be able to conform to. There will be areas, such as door handles, mirrors, gas caps, doorframes, wheel wells, bumpers, hoods, fenders, around edges and hard corners, etc. where edges will be visible. In some cases relief cuts need to be made or patches need to be installed to cover certain areas. Stretching film will result in some shrinkage as it attempts to return to its original form/dimensions. As it shrinks, some minor tenting and lifting does occur and will be addressed in the 30-60 day check-up if necessary. There will also be seams where the panels meet or where the clear bar is not large enough to cover certain areas. ENVUE Film Solutions is not responsible for the limitations of the PPF material. PPF is not an invisible layer of protection.

All PPF material needs to be applied to “like new” vehicle finish for the best results. There must be an excellent bond of the paint and its finish to the vehicle substrate. Any CHIPS, rust, bubbling, scratches, dents or other damage will be visible through the film, and such surface imperfections may damage the film or cause the film to fail prematurely. Areas repaired with body filer must be sanded, epoxy primed and finished with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture) paint or clear coat. Any recently applied finish must be fully cured for a minimum of 30 days prior to film being applied. Consult with your body shop for proper cure times and rules.

UNSUITABLE SURFACES FOR CLEAR BRA: On our full body PPF jobs we cover almost every surface. There are some surfaces that may not be suitable for PPF (any textured surface - be it plastic, fake chrome or otherwise, some trivial accent pieces that aren’t facing forward, some instances of grilles or fake chrome pieces that are cheaper to replace than to have us protect), etc.

ONCE INSTALLED PPF MATERIAL IS INTENDED TO BE VIEWED FROM A DISTANCE OF SIX (6) FEET FROM THE VEHCILE.

Installation time is based upon many factors including but not limited to, film selected, curing time, places where clear bra is being installed, size of vehicle, complexity of installation areas and any unforeseen circumstances that may arise. We will make every effort to give reasonable time frames for instillation but reserve the right to change them at any time for any reason.

PPF material does not stick or adhere well to plastic, primer, silicone or rubber surfaces and customers are not advised to wrap such areas. If the customer requests that these areas be wrapped we are not responsible for the material not sticking or adhering to those surfaces and the manufacture will not warranty such items being wrapped.

In most cases of PPF lifting, it is a material issue and it typically occurs in the first few weeks after instillation. We do require a 30-60 day check-up to see the vehicle first hand and to be able to address any issues at that time to prevent the continued peeling and to trim the pieces before they become contaminated. If you do not return within the 30-60 day required time frame to address any issues we are not responsible for the condition of the clear bra material. ENVUE Film Solutions is not the manufacture of any films and is nothing more than the installers. Extreme temperatures can also affect the clear bra such as extreme heat and cold as well as humidity and dust. We recommend you garage your vehicle as much as possible to prevent from these types of issues and to extend the life of your clear bra material.

REMOVALS: All removals for PPF are quoted separately and are based on a per hour basis. PPF removal can be very time consuming and costly and is billed as such. ENVUE Film Solutions is not responsible for the condition of the paint underneath the clear bra or for any damage that occurs when such material is removed from the vehicle. Please note, our experience shows that removal of PPF, from good quality original OEM paint will typically not damage the paint. However, it is the duty and responsibility of the owner or authorized representative of the vehicle to ensure the suitability of the surface before installing such materials and when they are removed. ENVUE Film Solutions is not responsible for any damage that occurs to the vehicle at the owner’s request.

BADGE AND TRIM REMOVAL: On certain installations we may have to remove badging or other parts of the car to provide the best experience for you, should you request it. For example, doing a full vehicle wrap or a wrap on the hood usually requires us to remove the hood emblem. The customer is responsible for the cost to replace the badge, if, for some reason, it is a one-time use by the manufacturer (we will do research and warn you prior to installation). All attempts will be made to retain all OEM badges and lettering unless the customer wishes otherwise.

We make every attempt to NOT remove badging unless absolutely necessary or requested. Many emblems and decals are on back order.

WARRANTY AND MATERIALS: All materials are installed per the customer or authorized representatives request. We are not the manufacture of the product and all warranties are offered through the manufacture of the product the customer specifically ordered. For warranty information you must visit the manufacture website or brochure for specific information regarding the product(s) you ordered. ENVUE Film Solutions is the installer of the product, not the manufacture. However, if there is something wrong with the product our manufactures do stand behind their products as do we, so please do not hesitate to contact us. Damage done to the PPF material by the customer or any third party is not a warranty issue and will not be covered as such. ENVUE Film Solutions is not liable for services that are contracted out to other facilities for work to be performed. If an issue arises the customer must contact that specific company directly for any warranty issues or concerns regarding that companies product or services.

AFTER CARE: We recommend HAND WASHING ONLY for the first week and thereafter if possible. Keep the car out of direct sunlight for the first 2-3 days after installation. Do not pressure wash the car for the first month. If using high-pressure sprayers after 30 days stay at least 3-4 feet away from the clear bra at all times. We recommend when cleaning to use only PPF safe materials and to avoid any harsh chemicals of any kind that can deteriorate the PPF. Avoid using abrasive washing clothes as well as drying towels. You will see bubbles and haziness (the moisture pockets between the film and the paint) in the PPF for the first 30-60 days after installation (THIS IS NORMAL AND IS PART OF THE CURING PROCESS). You will see some minor peel back on the bra, this is to be expected and will be address during the 30-60 day check-up. ENVUE Film Solutions offers a free 30-60 day REQUIRED check up on all PPF installations to be sure the product has cured properly and do any trimming for peel back that may have occurred during the curing process. WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE BRING A FRESHLY CLEANED CAR TO THE CHECK-UP SO WE CAN SEE AND ADDRESS ALL AREAS AT THAT TIME. We must physically see the vehicle in order to address any issues, phone conversations, emails or pictures will not suffice.

VEHICLE STORAGE FEES: Vehicles left beyond the authorized pickup day (definition of authorized pickup day: is the date vehicle is ready to be picked up and the client has been notified) will be charged $50.00 per day, per occupied space, until the vehicle or vehicles have been picked up and paid for.

VEHICLE MAINTENANCE/TOWING/TRANSPORTATION, ETC.: ENVUE Film Solutions is not responsible for the vehicles maintenance, condition or any mechanical malfunctions that may occur when the vehicle is in ENVUE Film Solutions possession. If a vehicle needs to be repaired or taken to a repair shop / dealership for any reason, including but not limited to: maintenance, recalls, electronic malfunctions, parts, etc. ENVUE Film Solutions is not responsible for any of the costs and is the owners sole responsibility to pay for those costs. ENVUE Film Solutions has permission to operate customers vehicle for services requested in work order. Operation of vehicles may include delivery, testing, and or outsourcing at difference locations.

CHANGES/CORRECTIONS/ERRORS: We reserve the right to correct inaccuracies, prices, omissions, descriptions, and errors relating to products, productions, availability and update information at anytime without prior notice.

Automotive Window Tint -

Imperfections Per the IWFA (International Window Film Association) – The glass with applied films shall be viewed at right angles to the glass from the room side and at a distance no less than six (6) feet. Viewing shall be carried out in natural daylight, not in direct sun light. The installation is deemed acceptable if all of the following are unobtrusive (effects during 30-60 day cure time should be disregarded). Dirt Particles, Hair and Fibers, Adhesive Gels, Fingerprints, Air Bubbles, Water Haze, Scores and Scratches, Film Distortion, Creases, Edge Lifting, Nicks and Tears. If any of these conditions still exist after 30-60 days we request the customer return at such time to have us evaluate the film. WE CANNOT DO AN INSPECTION OVER THE PHONE, VIA EMAIL OR THROUGH PICTURES; WEMUST SEE THE VEHICLE/GLASS AT OUR LOCATION FOR INSPECTION. ONCE INSTALLED WINDOW FILM MATERIAL IS INTENDED TO BE VIEWED FROM A DISTANCE OF SIX (6) FEET FROM THE GLASS AND IS DEEMED AS ACCEPTABLE.

  • Gaps On Edges –While we make every effort to get the film as close to the edges as we can, when window film is installed there may be slight gaps. This allows for the water used in the installation to be squeegeed out. This also ensures that the film edges are not raised up by contact with the frame margin, dot matrix or other moldings, etc. Contact with the frame, dot matrix or moldings can lead to peeling of the film. A gap may also exist due to the type of glass or windows that the film is installed on

  • Dot Matrix – Found on certain side windows and most back windows. This is a raised surface from the glass that usually borders the windows. As a result, most films adhere poorly to this area. Resulting in a white appearance from the outside when completely dry. Certain back windows have this matrix on the top which can be a few inches wide.

  • Black Borders – Depending upon the thickness (above the surface of the glass) of the border, a very thin white line may appear from the outside when dry where the black border ends.

  • WaterThe application of any product with an aggressive adhesive system requires the use of water and some type of “slip” agent. Both are harmless. Our installers will wipe down all surfaces which come in contact with water immediately when finished with installation on that particular piece of glass. Any carpeted areas will return to their original condition. Stereo, Amplifiers, After Market Equipment Please inform us before work has begun of any hidden electrical equipment which may react adversely to water, hidden areas where water is likely to be used.

  • Speakers – Most speaker cones are made of polypropylene (plastic) and cannot be damaged by small amounts of water, however, it is suggested that the stereo may not be used for 12 hours after installation to allow any stray moisture to dry.

  • Scratches – Any glass, brand new or old, can have light or heavy surfaces scratches, internal or external. These scratches, although previously undetectable will show up after the application of window tint.

  • Glass – Antennas, Cell Phones, Or Sensor Signal reception may be impeded after the application of any window film which contains any metal. Signal reception to any hand held or portable cell phone may be impeded after the application of any window film which contains any metal.

  • Car’s Interior & Exterior – Most paint is not perfect. Most vehicle interiors are not in perfect condition either. It is natural to look at any new purchase closely, especially one that changes the overall look of your vehicle as much as window tinting. Sometimes minute defects that were already there will now be noticed. Our company is not responsible for any minute flaws in the vehicles interior and or exterior unless thoroughly inspected by the customer and one of the team members before installation begins.

  • Door Panel, Rubbers, & Seals – We do not cut rubbers on roll up windows. Sometimes it is necessary to push them down to facilitate drying. Roll all your windows all the way down and up after 3 days from the installation date. To make sure that all the rubber seals are up all the way and are not sticking down. If sticking, STOP rolling them up and down, contact us immediately and come in. When film has been newly applied, the films surface is very susceptible to sticking to very tight rubbers and pulling them up and down with the movement of the glass. We spray a special polish/cleaner on your film and rectify the condition. If you do not bring the car back immediately and cease the tint rolling the windows up and down you can cause permanent damage to the door panels, windows, motors and window tint.

  • Warranty Work – No warranty work will be performed without all your original paperwork. Vehicle must be brought into the shop to have any problem areas inspected prior to scheduling an appropriate installation time and date.

  • Product Liability – All products guaranteed to be as specified; All products are scratch resistant not scratch proof. Any scratches to the film caused by rolling the windows up or down after installation is not our responsibility. After we are done with the job we will offer a first time polish and inspection of our work.

  • Choosing Film Type & Shade – Our team will only suggest film type and shade you want. If you choose a film that is darker than the legal limit and you receive a ticket for window tint, this is your responsibility and not ours. After the material has been cut, any changes may require an additional cost, above and beyond the original price that was quoted to you, the customer.

  • Defroster Lines – When removing tint from your rear windshield we will do everything in our power to save your defroster lines. We do this by using professional grade steamers to soften the glue and keep your defroster lines in tact. There is still a risk even when using steamers your defroster lines will be damaged and we will not be responsible.

  • Dust
Dust is all around us and is next to impossible to keep out of the air. This also makes it impossible to completely keep off the film. However, we take every precaution to do so.  We are not responsible for any dust that may show up, and small dust specs are not covered under warranty.  If the interior of the car is excessively dirty, we may need to clean it to keep the environment as dust free as possible.  We will only do so if necessary, but needing to do so will incur a $30 fee.  This also includes things like animal hair or anything else that will get under the film during installation.  We are not detailers, so this will not be a detail of the entire car; this is only for the surfaces that will interfere with the tinting process, e.g. the dash, rear deck, etc.

  • Legality
The state of Alabama does not allow vehicles that will be driven on public roads to have any tint on the front windows (driver and passenger door, forward of the B pillar) or windshield (this does not include a strip of non-reflective 35% VLT tint along the top 6 inches of passenger vehicles), without a medical exemption signed by a doctor and issued from the MVC.  The rear section, including rear window, can legally be tinted any darkness and colored tint is not restricted.  No window is allowed to have a mirrored or metallic appearance.  If the rear window is tinted, the vehicle must have dual side mirrors.

By signing this form, you acknowledge that you understand the laws and agree to abide by them.  Any tint that does not follow these laws will be for a show car or off road vehicle that will not be driven on Alabama public roads. ENVUE Film Solutions is not responsible for any tickets or accidents that occur due to tint or illegal operation of a tinted vehicle. If tint needs to be removed, there will be an additional fee.

  • Warranty
Our films comes with a lifetime manufacturer and installation warranty.  This covers fading or discoloration of the film as well as peeling or bubbling.  The warranty does not cover physical damage, such as scratches or tears, or dust particles, as stated previously.
Please inspect your windows and address any concerns before leaving when you come to pick up your vehicle.

Home/Office Window Tint -

Disclaimer for privacy film application:

You may have chosen a particular film to decrease the ability to see the windows when viewing from outside looking into the inside of the building / house. There are many factors that will affect the level of privacy effect/view control such as: natural or man-made lighting and in particular proximity to the glass, background day-lighting, and interior wall colors. For these reasons WTS does not guarantee 100% privacy effect on any installation and You expressly agree that it may not be possible to achieve Your desired level of privacy while viewing the glass from the outside especially at night. Any privacy effect will diminish when interior lighting conditions are brighter than the outside lighting.

Disclaimer for dirty site condition:

Professional will use the utmost care to achieve a high-quality Installation. Dirty or Dusty site conditions can cause a lesser quality finished window film Installation. When the window film protective liner is released from the film, static electricity is created in a sufficient amount to draw any pet hair, dust and particles that may be present in or around the work area on to the surface of the window film. You agree that if there is excessive pet hair, dirt, or debris present in the home and or around the work area that is inherent for the finished Installation to have a certain amount of these particulates in between film and Your glass, and there will be an additional charge to You if request to remove and replace such window films.

Disclaimer for single pane glass breakage:

Single Pane glass which is commonly found in manufactured housing, lanai enclosures, and residential block and frame constructed homes may experience cracking and some cases may become broken by pressure exerted against the glass during any window film and / or adhesive residue removal. You agree that you have been informed of the risk of potential glass breakage associated with the removal of window film on single pane glass (dual pane glass is excluded) and in such event You agree WTS is not liable for any glass breakage on single pane glass.

Installation Inspection:

Your satisfaction is extremely important to us. A small amount of moisture will be present in the completed Installation: this will evaporate. Also, edge border you may notice is a requirement of the application in accordance with the film manufacturer. Please allow up to 90 days for full cure as per the manufacturer guidelines.

VINYL REMOVAL
Due to many unknown factors that exist prior to receiving a vehicle for a vinyl removal project, ENVUE Film Solutions cannot be held responsible for any damage that has occurred prior to and/or during the vinyl removal process. Those unknown factors include and are not limited to: Any damage exposed during the original installation of the vinyl graphics (ie; knife marks, burns, and scratches, etc.) from the original company. Flaking or peeling paint/finish caused by road debris, bugs, pressure washing, poor repair work, accidents, etc. Pre-existing paint damage that has been hidden or covered by the vinyl graphic. Ghosted images that have been transferred from the vinyl graphic removed to the paint/substrate surface. Tool marks, scratches, scrapes caused by the removal process. These typically occur when a graphic has been left on too long and the graphic becomes permanently bonded to the paint. ENVUE Film Solutions uses special non-metal tools to remove vinyl. The chemicals used for vinyl/adhesive removal are rated safe for most finishes as per the manufacturer of product.

Single-stage paint finishes, powder-coated finishes, oxidized surfaces, plastics, non-OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts, pre-existing customizations and rubber are more susceptible to damage. Vehicle components may or may not need to be temporarily dismantled to ensure complete vinyl removal under and around said areas. Re-assembly of these components during previous vinyl installation may or may not have been completed correctly. ENVUE Film Solutions is not responsible for damages as a result. Any issues that can and will be problematic will be addressed with the customer immediately as well as documented thoroughly. Vehicle logos and emblems will not be re-affixed by ENVUE Film Solutions per industry standard. There is a chance that vinyl installed over the top of vehicle emblems, as well as, emblems that have been installed over the top of the existing vinyl wrap can damage the emblem during the removal process.

ENVUE Film Solutions employees performing the removal are trained to remove vinyl as per the vinyl manufacturer standards with great care and accuracy. By committing to have ENVUE Film Solutions perform a graphic removal, there is a chance that damage to the substrate can occur during the removal process. CLIENT also waives the right to hold ENVUE Film Solutions responsible for any damage that may occur during the removal process of previously installed vinyl. Any claims need to be submitted in writing within two (2) days of vehicle pickup/delivery. All claims will be reviewed on an individual basis.

 APPEARANCE & ALTERATIONS
CLIENT understands that the product purchased is a vinyl vehicle wrap. It is also understood that unlike a paint job on a vehicle, there can and will be seams, overlays, and patches that are necessary to cover the entire vehicle and its contours and/or substrate irregularities. It is also understood that upon approval of final graphic proofs, some changes to the finalized artwork may be necessary at time of installation to allow the vehicle wrap to fit the vehicle’s shape. CLIENT authorizes ENVUE Film Solutions to make such necessary changes. ENVUE Film Solutions will notify CLIENT if the change significantly modifies the approved design.
